Charlie is my shadow.  He loves being with me doing chores or working on the computer.  He has learned to be gentle with the lambs and tough with the sheep as needed.  He’s very good at herding the chickens back into the shed and has even brought eggs to me unbroken. He is good at herding the sheep, often preferring to gather and will bring the sheep up to the barn quite easily.  He will also hold them at the door.

 

He has taken over the guardian role from Bubba quite well.  He has found stray lambs for me and held them without harming them.  He is very enthusiastic when we are working outside.  He loves water and cools off in the stock tanks when he gets the chance.

 

Charlie is a bit aloof with strangers, but warms up quickly to those he likes. He is very much a lady’s man!  He’s still a goof with his toys– carries his stuffed bunnies around the house and snuggles on the couch happily.
